POT, 1970S

Almost every Czech home has a teapot from the Kavalier glassworks. It was designed in the seventies by Adolf Matura as part of a set, using Simax heat-resistant glass, stainless steel and plastic. It was made on a fully-automated production line, a revolution at the time. The teapot became a successful export, and millions of them have been made to this day, retaining the original design.
